We’re a small shelter, so every helping hand makes a big impact! To learn more, please call (618) 300-7255 and follow the prompts to request an informal interview with our staff. For the safety of our residents, we require two references and a background check.

Hands-on ways to help

Beauty care services for hair, skin and nails

  • Homecooked meals

  • Shelter repairs, grounds keeping and painting

  • Tutoring and literacy

  • Office support, from fundraising to clerical tasks

Due to the challenges of COVID-19, limited space and the everchanging needs of our residents, we request that you contact us prior to dropping off donations. Currently, we are unable to accept any clothing, blankets or linens unless they are new and in original packaging. No handmade items are accepted.
